Simply add an inch or two or pebbles or sand into a one-litre plastic bottle then fill the rest of the bottle up with water. Screw the lid on and put the bottle into your toilet tank away from the mechanism.
By just doing this, you could save five gallons of water each day without losing the effectiveness of your toilet flush. If your business has several toilets, you could save a lot more water by repeating in every toilet

Mend Your Leaks.
If you have a leak in any of you pipes, taps or in water pumps then you can lose up to fifty gallons of water each day. By searching for and repairing all of your leaks, you’ll be able to save a considerable amount of water.
A well-maintained water system will be efficient and won’t waste water.
Buy a Dishwasher.
If your business has a kitchen or kitchenette area, then you may be surprised to learn that washing all of your dishes by hand will use up more water than you would use if you were to get a dishwasher to do the job for you.
You could say a staggering 5,000 litres of water each and every year by using a dishwasher instead of washing the dishes by hand. This amount would be a lot more if you were to buy a more water efficient model.
Who knew that avoiding doing the washing up would be a great way to help the environment?
