IT peripheral manufacturer Brother International earlier this week launched a new inkjet multifunction printer, the MFC-J2510 InkBenefit. Tailored for personal, SOHO or SMB use, the MFC-J2510 InkBenefit features a 3.7-inch touchscreen interface along with its copy, scan, fax and print capability.

What’s distinctive about the multifunction printer is that it can actually print up to A3 size (and on two sides as well), which is extremely uncommon for printers meant for small or home office use. The device supports wired and wireless networking, and also features both web and mobile connectivity with a range of cloud printing and scanning features like Airprint and Google Cloud. Interestingly, the MFC-J2510 InkBenefit feeds and prints documents in a landscape format, rather than a traditional portrait format. It is also the company’s fastest inkjet model with a print speed of up to 20 monochrome and 18 color pages per minute.

“The innovative design of the inkjet MFC also boasts revolutionary technology as the first model from Brother to utilize landscape printing, and we believe that the ink savings from the device will revolutionize the way that our users print at home and in the office,” says Mr Nigel Lee, Country Manager, Brother International Singapore.

The MFC-J2510 InkBenefit also incorporates Brother’s newest power saving technology, “Low Energy Standby”, offering the lowest power consumption when the unit is plugged in but with the power turned off. According to Brother, the printer is the company’s most energy efficient MFC inkjet printer to date.
