We know that fashion is a form of art, but what if you fused art and fashion together, almost literally? That’s what California-based apparel company ArtLife (www.artlife2010.com) does – the new contemporary lifestyle brand offers consumers artist-inspired wardrobe must-haves such as cotton tees, tank tops, raglans and sweatshirts showcasing designs of various mediums.
Founded in Los Angeles by artist and designer Dominic LaBarbera in 2010, ArtLife‘s apparel incorporates colorful and vintage style graphics that represents an interesting confluence of art, fashion and contemporary lifestyle. Head designer’s LaBarbera aims to bring to life his range of unique, modern artwork – inspired by nature and individuality – with the belief that art should be wearable.
Canvas to Cotton
“Nature is Earth’s purest form of art and is the ultimate mantra for the ArtLife brand,” says Dominic LaBarbera, ArtLife Founder, designer and a Los Angeles native. “Each piece is designed and produced for the appreciation of life through art while honoring the earth and embracing individualism.”
“Growing up in Southern California has provided me with the greatest inspiration imaginable and each piece of the collection is a reflection of how art can be transformed from canvas to cotton.”
Launched end last month, ArtLife apparel is currently available at select retailers in California, Texas, Canada and the Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV.
