Red Herring has announced the 200 finalists for its “Red Herring Top 100 Europe” Awards 2011, culling them from a pool of over 700 applicants after evaluating Europe’s most promising private technology ventures on quantitative and qualitative criteria such as financial performance, technology innovation, quality of management, execution of strategy and integration. These finalists will compete for a prestigious Top 100 Award during the Red Herring Wireless conference to be held on May 23-25 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, an event that will see venture financiers, C-level entrepreneurs and other Europe-based technology glitterati rub shoulders with one another
The conference will feature keynote speeches from industry leaders, roundtable discussions and corporate presentations from CEOs of emerging private technology companies. Red Herring award winners and finalists who do not make it into the winner’s circle will be invited to present their innovative ideas and technologies to an audience of leading investors, entrepreneurs, financiers, and corporate strategists.
