The entrepreneurial wave is sweeping this region. After the mega-successful Echelon 2010 held earlier this month in Singapore, it’s Hong Kong’s turn with Startup Saturday on 7 August. Organized by “Startup Mondays”, a group started by a bunch of Hong Kong startups, the one-day event at Cyberport will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, students, media and tech enthusiasts in Hong Kong and around the region to see some 20 startups showcase their companies. The event will also feature a line-up of panels focusing on funding, creativity, development and ideas for starting up the next big business in Asia.
You can sign up for the event here.
(PS: I like the fact that the event registration form is powered by Hong Kong startup Pandaform. They recently featured at Echelon 2010’s startup launchpad session.)
